Sorry that I was MIA last week. I just plain got busy.

Here is the Menu for this week.

Monday: Beef Stroganoff, Peas
Tuesday: Pork (haven't decided how I'm going to fix the pork yet), Scalloped POtatoes, Green Beans
Wednesday: Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Corn
Thursday: Sweet 'n Sour Chicken, Fried Rice, Pears
Friday: Chili Dogs, French Fries
Saturday: Spaghetti, Garlic Bread, Tropical Fruit
Sunday: Steak, Baked Potato

Menu Plan Monday 10/5/2009

Well, another week has gone by! I started this weeks menu on Sunday, so at some point I'll have an 8 day menu, but it won't be this week!

Sunday: Roast, Potatoes, Carrots, Rolls
Monday: Chicken Pot Pie, Tropical Fruit
Tuesday: French Bread Pizza, Salad
Wednesday: Pork Chops, Garden Vegetable Rice, Peas
Thursday: Chicken with Mushroom Sauce, Noodles, Corn
Friday: Leftovers
Saturday: Hamburgers, Fried Potatoes, Pears

Menu Plan Monday 9/28/2009

Well, we kept to the menu pretty closely last week, but not exactly, so you will see some items popping up on this weeks menu again. Saturday we had the steaks that we were supposed to have Sunday, so I started my menu yesterday.

Sunday - Rotisserie Chicken, Au Gratin Potatoes, peas
Monday - Spaghetti (never did have this!), Garlic Bread, Salad
Tuesday - Stuffed Apple-Glazed Pork Chops (gonna try this!), Corn, pears, Italian Bread
Wednesday - Swiss Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans
Thursday - Chicken Enchilada Casserole (gonna try this, too!), Rice, Beans
Friday - leftovers
Saturday - Leftovers (DH is on his own, the kids will be working, and I'll be at Scrap Pink! YEA!!!)

Well, here is what is on the menu for this week.

Monday: Chili Dogs, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw
Tuesday: Hawaiian Pork Chops, Rice, Pineapple
Wednesday: Meatloaf, Au Gratin Potatoes, Corn
Thursday: Chicken Enchiladas, Spanish Rice
Friday: Leftovers
Saturday: Spaghetti, Garlic Bread, Salad
Sunday: Steak, Baked Potato, Salad

My sister, a good friend and her daughter and I went to the Cincinnati Zoo yesterday. Other than getting wet, we had a WONDERFUL time!!!! One of my favorite animals there is the Bongo, and although we didn't get to see them, it was still a very interesting trip!!! Got some GREAT shots of the polar bears, and finally got to see the Empire Penguins. (I LOVE the zoo!!!)

Menu Plan Monday 9/14/2009

Yes, I know that it is Tuesday, however, I want to try to remember to do this on Monday's so........

Monday: Hamburgers, Fried Potatoes, Coleslaw

Tuesday: Sweet 'n Sour Chicken, Rice, Pears

Wednesday: Steak, Baked Potato, Salad

Thursday: BBQ Pork Tenderloin, Pasta Roni (not sure which one yet!), Corn

Friday: Stuffed Shells, Garlic Bread, Salad

Saturday: Hamburger Helper, Fruit Cocktail

Sunday: Oven-Baked Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese, Peas

We are eating from our stash this week. The cabbage for the coleslaw and the pears came from our garden. (The pears have already been canned.) If I find any good buys (basically free) at the stores, I will post them!

Starting A Blog

Well, I thought that now would be a good time to start a blog. Since I am now unemployed, this will give me a good way to keep up with everything that happens. I'm not so sure that I will have a whole lot to share (or even that anyone will want to read what I've shared! LOL!), but I will put it out there anyway!
